The business plan

May came in a little closer to my budget than previous months, with profits being 10% greater than budgeted. Does this mean I’m slowing down? Nope, not at all.
A big contract can move you up or down by a lot in one month. If you look closely to the financial figures below. You’ll see that Video Production Income was stellar, but the Business Services and Website / Online Marketing Income was non-existent. That is to be expected and I thus anticipate these figures to bounce up and down as the year goes on, with some months arbitrarily doing better than others.
Action Plan
After several updates this year, it has struck me that I really do need to write an action plan for specific goals that I’m looking to achieve this year, beyond the purely financial goals set out in my budget. As such, I have decided to create an action plan of specific and tangible goals that I will try to achieve for the remaining half of the year between July and December of 2010.
I will be using June as a set up month, where I will write the action plan and get all my thoughts in place, with the goal of starting on executing that action plan come July. Well, I guess that is an action plan of sorts for June then. Get organized with an action plan!
Conclusion
Ummm… my conclusion was that I’m working on an action plan, otherwise everything is ready-steady-go!
